I felt bad that I did not mention how wonderful Aaron is. He is a rock!! He is the best dad, husband, and man. I am so proud of him and take back all the kidding and hard times I have given him. He is really, really amazing and just what Erica needs!!
As another update....Erica just came out to eat a bite. In answer to prayer, the nurses hearts have been softened and she has been able to stay with her baby girl all morning. She can now hold her and feed her ice. There is a possibility that they will move her to a regular room tonight. Aaron is holding her now. Praise the Lord!!!

Praise God for soft hearts!!! I guess every hospital is different but we were allowed to stay in the PICU all the time. They need to reconsider that policy! My two cents!!! YouYou needs to have familiar people around her. Praying for her transition to a regular room as this means two HUGE things: she is progressing well AND Mommy and Daddy can be with her all the time!!! Praying in TN!

Tell Erica that Laine and Rob will be coming for a hug probably after 6 p.m. (Since Rob is coming too, there is a much better chance that Laine will be able to find the hospital. ;) We are praying praying praying!!!!!!!! Thank you Lord for all the amazing ways He has answered these prayers thus far!!!!!!!

ReplyDeletePraise God that Erica is with her baby girl. Also...thank you Hollie for keeping us informed. I was so glad to know the nurses are letting you stay with her. This brings me such comfort as we will be there now on April 9 with our Lia for her surgery.
